Kentico provides a complete solution for building websites, intranets and ecommerce sites. Additionally, Kentico provides translation capabilities to manage multilingual content and multilingual versions of your Kentico-based website. This blog will describe how to configure the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.translationplugin.com\/index.php\/kentico-translation\/\"> GPI Translation Services Connector for Kentico<\/a> and how to manage the export and import process for translation.<\/p>\n<h4>GPI Translation Services Connector for Kentico<\/h4>\n<p>The GPI Translation Services Connector for Kentico allows users to export any single page or multiple pages for translation and then import the content back into the CMS in a few, simple steps.<\/p>\n<p>By using this connector, users can easily manage multilingual versions of their Kentico-based website.<\/p>\n<h5>Registering the GPI Translation Services Connector<\/h5>\n<p>This is a first time configuration to register the GPI Translation Services Connector for Kentico.<\/p>\n<p>The below steps walk you through configuring it:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Open the <strong>Settings<\/strong> application.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Content -&gt; Translation services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>New translation services<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the GPI Translation Service data, as shown in the below screen.<\/li>\n<li>Check the\u00a0<strong>Service is enabled<\/strong> checkbox.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.globalizationpartners.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/gpi-kentico-1_899x323.jpg\" alt=\"gpi-kentico-1\" width=\"899\" height=\"323\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After clicking save, you will see that GPI Translation Service is listed under translation services, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.globalizationpartners.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/gpi-kentico-2_900x210.jpg\" alt=\"gpi-kentico-2\" width=\"900\" height=\"210\" \/><\/p>\n<h5>Submitting Content for Translation<\/h5>\n<p>When you select a page the does not exist in the current culture, you will have many options to translate the page by using translation services, as shown in the below screen. Select <strong>GPI Translation Service<\/strong> and then click the\u00a0<strong>Submit for translation<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.globalizationpartners.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/gpi-kentico-3_900x443.jpg\" alt=\"gpi-kentico-3\" width=\"900\" height=\"443\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After clicking submit, you will see the submitted page in the submissions list in content &gt; translations.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.globalizationpartners.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/gpi-kentico-4_899x245.jpg\" alt=\"gpi-kentico-4\" width=\"899\" height=\"245\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You also have the option to submit multiple pages for translation in a single operation, which you can do by clicking <strong>Create new submission<\/strong> and selecting the pages to be translated.<\/p>\n<h5>Importing the Translation<\/h5>\n<p>Once the translation is completed by GPI&#8217;s translation teams, the submission status will be updated to <strong>Translation ready<\/strong>, the translation can then be imported by clicking the green arrow beside the translation record.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kentico content management system (CMS) is a platform that utilizes ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
